Alex Ocampo

Alejandra (Alex) Ocampo was born in Colombia and moved to New Jersey at age 11. Ocampo likes to make all kinds of art, and has been making art since she was a kid. She works mostly in pencil and pastel on paper and draws intuitively. She likes to hang out with family and friends on the weekends. Her family has encouraged her to follow her dreams, and she has persisted in making art despite moments of discouragement, with their inspiration. She has been making art at Studio Route 29 since 2022.
