Studio Route 29 curates an external exhibition space in ArtYard's CourtYard Gallery in Frenchtown, allowing us to introduce new audiences to the creative work of people with disabilities. Exhibiting here contextualizes the work of the artists we represent in a diverse group of artists working in various fields and at various stages in their careers and connects The Studio and artists working here to a wider art community. Beauty Books:
Beauty Books is a small press run out of Studio Route 29 in Frenchtown NJ. Beauty Books works to bring the artwork, poems, stories, and ideas of the Studio Route 29 community to a broader public. Check out Beauty Books here.
Beauty Music:
Beauty Music is a music studio practice, collaborative recording project, and record label centering the musical practices of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Beauty Music works to support new music creation through facilitation and collaboration with producers and musicians and by providing access to musical instruments, technology, techniques, and processes. As a record label, Beauty music works to bring the musical ideas, worlds, and practices of people with intellectual disabilities, their collaborators, and connected makers to a wider audience in the context of the broader music world via performances, releases, and streaming.

Films for Friends
Films for Friends is a monthly screening series that brings together video, audio, and performance work from artists in the studio and out, as well as conversations curated to respond to current staff and studio artist interest.
Films for Friends is every second Thursday of the month at 6pm. Please see our social media or the events page on this website a week or so in advance of the showing to learn whats on this month and to learn about past Films for Friends.
FiNNBAR
FiNNBAR is a restaurant serving a seasonal, produce-driven, and locally sourced menu of Italian and Mediterranean inspired dishes located in Frenchtown NJ. 70% of profits from FINNBAR’s sales go directly to Studio Route 29. Revenue donated by FINNBAR supports individual creative practices and provides financial resources to celebrate, champion, and position neurodiverse artistic contributions as a vital part of the art world. FINNBAR also exhibits original artworks by artists working at Studio Route 29.

Beauty Radio
Beauty Radio primarily broadcasts the music we listen to at Studio Route 29 Wednesday through Friday 11-4. With a rotating group of selectors who are the artists and staff working day-to-day, the music shifts with the studio’s mood and gives listeners a portal into the current studio vibe: esoteric fruits of movie research, pump up hits, or contemplation-companion songs. Specific programming like interviews, weather reports, and puppet monologues is in the works and Beauty Radio aims to be host to broadcasts of other progressive art studio’s dance parties, stories, or audio work. Internet radio reaches far and wide and Beauty Radio will broadcast the creative ideas, interests, stories, and parties of, by, and with artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities to the planet.
