Daisy Rodriguez

Daisy Rodriguez (b. 1977) is an artist living in Flemington NJ. Rodriguez has made art since childhood. She enjoys exploring craft and functionality in her work, and has a multifaceted practice that encompasses sculpture and painting as well as usable items like pillows, bags, and clothing. Rodriguez’s jovial floral compositions sometimes creep into mystical realms, blossoms at night, and invented flowers that begin to resemble body parts. Her nature inspired work continues a long tradition of flower motifs in both art and craft history. Rodriguez's work has been included in group exhibitions at Beauty Gallery NJ, Fleisher/Ollman, PA, and Make Studio, MD.
